Pallant Orthodontics Dental in Bognor

Pallant Orthodontics in Bognor was a large project for the Dentalbuild team, a vast premises over two floors which was previously used a charity shop just off Bognor High Street, this project offered many challenges mainly due to the poor state of the building the requirement to reinforce all the first floor timbers and the replacement of the main staircase within the premises to meet with building control requirements.

Working alongside Arcady Designs, a concept was put together which included extensive glass work and a real open plan feel to the practice, the installation of a dumb waiter allowed for best practice in terms of sterilisation and the large upper floor Decontamination Area allowed for excellent access from all of the surgeries.

A fully complaint DDA bathroom was installed to the ground floor along with consolation rooms and a state of the art OPG facility, 2 surgeries on the ground floor were complemented with a further 2 surgeries to the first floor along with staff room, offices and additional waiting area.

The project was turned around in 16 weeks including cabinetry and equipment installation, and despite some further structural issues the project stayed on schedule for the duration of the works. Pallant Orthodontics is now an outstanding practice which has added real value to the seaside town of Bognor Regis. The practice opened in May 2019.

Horsham Gentle Dental was a unique a challenging project delivered in just 12 weeks despite the initial 16 week build allocation.

Located in Horsham High Street, the premises was listed and this in itself presented significant challenges, previously used for health and beauty the premises needed to be stripped out whilst maintaining the original feel to the building, the client wanted 5 working surgeries and working alongside the project architect we managed to deliver 3 surgeries to the first floor and 2 to the upper floors, the practice also has a central decontamination room, staff area and offices and despite the challenges around limited space across the 3 floors we managed to achieve a stunning practice with a really welcoming feel which the clients absolutely love.

Original features including the fireplaces and detailed coving were retained and the external windows were left in place as per the conditions of the build.

Access was difficult on this project and with its pedestrianized high street location , the build presented many logistical hurdles that had to be overcome.

The project was completed on time and within budget with the practice opening its doors in September 2019.

It was a challenging project which encountered difficult site conditions and environmental restrictions in an austere environment. From Managing Director to right through the Site Operatives they have been thoroughly professional in their conduct, which has resulted in a high-quality product to the obvious delight of our patients.
