Horsham Gentle Dental
Horsham Gentle Dental was a unique a challenging project delivered in just 12 weeks despite the initial 16 week build allocation.
Located in Horsham High Street, the premises was listed and this in itself presented significant challenges, previously used for health and beauty the premises needed to be stripped out whilst maintaining the original feel to the building, the client wanted 5 working surgeries and working alongside the project architect we managed to deliver 3 surgeries to the first floor and 2 to the upper floors, the practice also has a central decontamination room, staff area and offices and despite the challenges around limited space across the 3 floors we managed to achieve a stunning practice with a really welcoming feel which the clients absolutely love.
Original features including the fireplaces and detailed coving were retained and the external windows were left in place as per the conditions of the build.
Access was difficult on this project and with its pedestrianized high street location , the build presented many logistical hurdles that had to be overcome.
The project was completed on time and within budget with the practice opening its doors in September 2019.
